The London Heathrow Hotel Hoppa Bus service provides a hotel-to-airport shuttle service for PAX to and from each of the main terminals at London Heathrow Airport. The service provides a direct link from 25 major hotels in the surrounding area to Terminal 2,3,4 and 5. Each of the participating hotels view this transport service as a vital connection for their guests requiring onward travel to and from the UKs busiest passenger airport terminal.
The design, development and programme management for an improved passenger experience solution was executed by the team at Rise Digital Media who recruited specialist commercial partners for fabrication of Self Service Ticketing Kiosks and new and improved payment services. All software development was undertaken in-house by our experienced team of software engineers using and extending our existing cloud-based mobility platform.
The Multi-Media Self Service Kiosks also provide RTI for bus arrivals and departures, allowing the operator to publish service updates via our cloud-based control center to each individual hotel or across the entire fleet of Kiosks as required by the client operations team in real-time or at defined published intervals.
