The team at Rise Digital Media were commissioned by Alpine Travel this year to design and build a new audio commentary system for their Llandudno CitySightseeing service.
The software solution is managed through the Rise Digital Media transit API which provides content to each driver console unit either when the device is connected to a WiFi service.
Through the integrated data management application, the team at Alpine Travel are able to create journey's patterns with geo-fences and triggers to play audio files in one or more langauges with priority settings to cater for variance on running times of the services.
Once the vehicle is in operation the system operates using GPS technology to release the audio commentry at each stopping point on the route.
