As 2022 draws to a close (where has the year gone?) I would like to thank all our customers for your continued support, feedback and guidance during what has been another tough time for the bus and coach industry.
We entered the year cautiously optimistic following the pandemic period, only to have the industry almost immediately hit with rising fuel prices, driver shortages and additional compliance and data requirements in relation to schools' transport and BODS etc. But together I'm sure we will get through, and my team and I have certainly learnt a lot about our own business and many valuable lessons along the way which I'm sure will stand us in good stead.
At Rise we recognise, perhaps more so than ever before, the importance of being agile and ready to adapt to ever-changing market and operational conditions. As a result of this we have developed and implemented a number of Platform updates and new feature releases to help support our clients through some of the challenges they have faced this year.
As I have said previously, Rise DM exists to provide bus and coach operators with digital products and services which offer real operational benefits and business/administration efficiencies, while making bus and coach travel an easier and more attractive proposition for new and existing passengers.
We appreciate that customer demands, along with their travel patterns and habits, continue to change, and we therefore constantly review our tech solutions to ensure they remain fit for purpose.
As we move into 2023, we will continue to work closely with the industry and our bus and coach operator customers - through both our newly formed Steering Group and online training and refresher sessions (contact Chris for details) - to further develop and enhance our suite of products, helping you to stay ahead of the competition. We do not operate vehicles (nor do we claim to) and we do not pitch for your work or contracts; I truly believe we are always better and stronger working together!
