Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) now available to Bushub dashboard users

Monday 28 November 2022

In keeping with the very latest industry standards around IT security and compliance, we have added Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) to the Bushub Administrator dashboard and this is available to you and your business from today. If you would like MFA turned on then please contact support@risedm.com and this will be added right away.

What's MFA and how does it work?

MFA is an authentication method that requires a user (dashboard administrator) to provide two or more verification factors to gain access to a resource such as an application or an online account.

Rather than just asking for your username and password, MFA requires one or more additional verification factors; this enhances your organisation's online security and reduces the risk of cyber attack.

Logging in

Once MFA is turned on, all approved admins accessing the Bushub dashboard will be prompted to enter a 6-digit one time passcode (OTP). This passcode is sent immediately to the email address linked to the username provided at the login stage.

One Time Passcode

Your One Time Passcode (the 6-digit number) is sent to you by email and is valid for 10 minutes. Once you have the OTP, enter it into the boxes displaying on the Bushub dashboard login screen and hit the blue continue button for access.
