Rise Digital Media, a leading supplier of digital services to the passenger transport industry, has announced the appointment of Spandana Makina to its engineering team.
Taking up the new role of Senior Applications Engineer, Spandana, who has over 13 years’ experience working in a wide range of senior systems engineering and software development roles, joined the team on Monday 28 November.
Most recently Spandana worked as a C# Backend Developer (1.5 year) with mobile ticketing and m-commerce company Corethree Ltd, and prior to this spent 5 years with Capital Continuity Limited developing web-based API solutions.
Speaking on the appointment, Christopher Nice, Director of Operations at Rise DM said:

Having previously worked with Corethree Ltd on prestigious digital projects for Transport for London (TfL), First Bus, and Santander Cycles (London cycle hire scheme), her vast experience and knowledge of business systems and mobile ticketing solutions for transport operations will be invaluable to the ongoing expansion of our research and development teams.”

Spandana Makina is a qualified Microsoft.Net developer with an Electronics and Communication Engineering degree from the Acharya Nagajuna University (Andhra Pradesh, India).
