Rise is pleased to announce that Worcestershire County Council has selected our platform to provide modern websites and mobile apps for local bus operators, delivered through the Bus Service Improvement Plan (BSIP) scheme.
The initiative is designed to improve the digital experience for passengers across the county by giving local operators access to high-quality, consistent, and easy-to-use digital tools — helping make bus travel more accessible, transparent, and attractive.
The first rollout is now underway with LMS Travel, delivering a new passenger website and mobile app powered by the Rise platform. The solution provides passengers with clear journey information, service updates, and a modern user experience aligned with current passenger expectations.
Importantly, the scheme has been structured to allow several additional Worcestershire operators to join, enabling a scalable, cost-effective approach that supports the wider local bus network rather than a single provider.
By using BSIP funding in this way, Worcestershire County Council is helping smaller and independent operators benefit from technology typically associated with larger networks — without the complexity or cost of bespoke development.
